At Oceano Dive Centre, the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver course consists of 2 main phases:

  • Theory. The academic training will help you understand the extra skills involved in this course, first at home doing an e-learning then a review in our classroom with your instructor.
  • Open Water Dives. You complete your certification by doing a minimum of 8 specialty training open water dives, in a variety of environments and underwater activities. You will complete the following specialties:

1.Navigation review (compass and natural)  
2.SCUBA and emergency skill review
3.Advanced finning techniques and buoyancy
4.Deep dive with decompression simulation (use of deco tanks)
5.Planning and executing limited visibility dive
6.Planning and executing search dive      
7.Planning and executing night dive
8.Planning and executing underwater heavy tasks

During the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver Course, we will push you to achieve difficult underwater tasks and dives worthy of the Master Diver Certification, The Master Diver certification will allow you to explore the next stages of training either through Technical Diving or Professional (Dive Master, Instructor)
You can include an extra NITROX specialty with this course for a discounted price, ask staff how.
When you complete this course, you will receive the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver e-certification. This certification level allows you to participate in many unsupervised dive activities worldwide. The NAUI Master SCUBA Diver certification will send you on your way to many exciting underwater adventures and prepare you for Technical diving training and Professional level training.


  • To enrol in the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver course, you must:
  • Pay the course fee in full
  • Be at least 15 years-old
  • Have a NAUI Advanced Open Water SCUBA diver certification or equivalent
  • Have done an open water dive in the last 3 months with Oceano Dive Club
  • Complete the eLearning before review date

Have OR hire a full set of Scuba equipment plus the following items:

  • Dive Computer
  • Compass
  • Torch (primary and backup)
  • Tank Light
  • Dive Knife
  • Slate & Pencil
  • Surface Marker Buoy
  • Reel

What's Included in the Master SCUBA Diver Course Fee

Our course fee includes the following materials:

  • NAUI Master SCUBA Diver eLearning course
  • NAUI app including all dive tools and logbook
  • NAUI e-certification in your NAUI app
  • Use of dive tanks
  • Small class size (between 2 to 4 people max)
  • Oceano Training guaranty

Items Not Included

We do not include dive gear (SCUBA set, mask, snorkel, boots, fins and weight belt, dive torches, compass, tank light and slate) as you will need these items once you are a certified diver. There is a student discount on purchasing these items when you buy from Oceano Dive Centre.

Note Regarding Certification Dives

Dive is an outdoor activity completely out of our control, if weather is not safe to dive we will reschedule your dives, we will do our best to inform ASAP at the latest within 24 hours from the scheduled dive dates.
